These are awesome! I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteThese look AMAZING! I'm going to have to try some...maybe the easy ones. I'm excited to keep reading! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your tutorials. :) I'm baking a graduation cake for my cousin next month. This will definitely come in handy. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThat is so exciting! I'm glad I could help :) Send me a picture of how the cake turns out! I would love to feature it in the graduation cupcakes post!
DeleteThis is great.....Thank you for sharing. Can't wait to try it....
ReplyDeleteHey, I was wondering if you use homemade cake recipes or if you do boxed cake mixes? I have never made a good homemade cake, they taste flavorless and dry, but the box mixes sometimes are so moist that they are hard to frost.
ReplyDeleteI actually use a recipe that uses a cake box mix, but then I add different ingredients than what the box says :) Email me if you would like a recipe! I haven't had any trouble with a boxed cake being too moist with my recipes!
DeleteAwesome blog! You have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteI have recently been baking and decorating cakes for holidays and birthdays. (With no fondant, I don't think I've graduated to that level yet)
I think its so fun! I think I'll make one for our family halloween party tomorrow
I like to use HERSHEY'S "PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" Chocolate Cake recipe that I found on Pinterest and it works great!
(But you have to beat it for a long time)
Here's a link to my blog

How do you get the roses off the toothpick to place them on the cake expecally the buter cream cause wont it still be soft? and with the fondant the middle is plastic? do you place that directly on the cake?
ReplyDeleteIs there any way to make a gold frosting?? Ive been trying to incorporate gold into a 3 tier cake im making for my 10year old daughter..her colors are pink blue and gold for her party. .any suggestions?? Thanks
ReplyDeleteNone of the links on the website will work =( Does anyone know the recipe for the white cake frosting? It worked perfectly for the faux fondant and I desperately need it for the cake I just baked for a birthday party today but the links aren't working =(
ReplyDeleteThis is Brooke's mom! So sorry I didn't realize this post was here. I have had to change everything on her blog because her domain expired without me knowing it. Everything is changed now and should work on this post. Thanks for your patience.
DeleteHi, I was hoping to find the link for the white cake frosting to use with the Viva paper towel! Please let me know where I could find it as it's not in the list above. Thanks so much!
